Adeus, minha querida, até sempre!

OLÁ !

Olá amigos,

Depois de uma grande ausência aqui fica a minha fotografia actual.

Como podem ver continuo bela e jovem !!!  tenho 10 anos (quase 11 diz a minha Dona, humpfff !)

A minha vida e a dos meus manos deu uma grande volta, mudei de casa e de cidade, a minha Dona mudou de trabalho, enfim.... só mudanças...
Depois de um periodo de adaptação um pouco dificil, já estamos todos (eu e os meus manos) adaptados às novas rotinas e felizes de novo!

Hello my friends

After a long absence here is my current picture !  As you can see I'm still young and beautiful !!! I'm now 10 years old  (almost 11 says my Mom, humpfff!)

Our lifes changed a lot, we moved to a new home in another village and Mom has a new work.  
But now (me and my brothers)  we are happy again  and fully adapted to the new routines.

A minha Dona fartou-se de me dizer "olha para mim, Iris", mas eu não lhe liguei nadinha (hehehehe...) depois de 89 fotos falhadas, ela desistiu (hehehehehe....) !!

Well... Mom told "look at me, Iris" several times, mas I didn't look at her (heheheheh...),  after like 89 failed shots she gave up  (hehehehehe...)

BAAAHHHHHHH

Olá amigos,

A minha dona tem andado muito preguiçosa ocupada, não tem tirado fotografias novas.... por isso é que não tenho dado notícias ....

Eu estive doente, a minha anca esquerda tem doído, fiquei sem conseguir andar das pernas traseiras(tenho displasia da anca e a anca direita já foi operada há 3 anos).

Tive que tomar comprimidos para as dores e antinflamatórios, para além dos suplementos de glucosamina + condroítina que já tomava.

Agora estou um pouco melhor, mas a Vet diz que estas crises vão começar a acontecer com mais frequência porque eu também estou mais velha (EU , VELHA !?!?!?)  precisava de fazer natação, mas aqui perto não há piscina para cães (só há em Lisboa e são 200 kms até lá .....) por isso vou ter que fazer só exercícios moderados.

A minha Dona não me deixa correr  (quando eu começo a ficar maluca, mete-me no canil, o que é um ULTRAJE....) só posso fazer passeios calmos ... tou chateada !!!!!!!

Mom has been lazy busy in last days, so we don't have new pictures...

 

I've been ill, with hip pain (I have Hip Dysplasia  in both hips but the right one had already a surgery 3 years ago) and I couldn't walk properly, I limped a lot.

The Vet gave me some medicines for the pain and inflammation and now I'm feeling better (not good). The VET told mom that I will have this kind of crisis often now because I'm getting older (OLD, ME ?!?!?!?!). I should swim in a pool but here where we live there is no pool for dogs (bahhhh) and the nearest one is in Lisbon (200 kms) ...

Mom don't let me run at all (when I begin running she put me in the kennel, and this is an OUTRAJE !!), so... I'M BORED !!

Obrigada a todos pelas vossas palavras de conforto sobre a perda do Hugo !

Estamos todos muito tristes e silenciosos, não percebemos o que se passou e continuamos à espera que o Hugo volte ! ele era o nosso chefe e agora não sabemos a quem ladrar e quando desatar a correr !!

Enfimmmmmmmm !! Wooooof!

We are all very sad and silent, we did not realize what happened and we are still waiting for Hugo back! 
He was our boss and now we don't know when to bark or when to run ! Saaaddd.......

O Céu tem uma nova estrela - Over the Rainbow Bridge

HUGO
?-?-2004  -   01-10-2012

O Hugo foi hoje para o céu, é agora uma estrelinha.

Resgatado das ruas em 2005, viveu na nossa familia 7 anos .

Infelizmente, ele tinha tido esgana em cachorro (antes de o adoptarmos) e apesar de ter vivido todos estes anos sem sintomas nenhuns, teve no sábado um ataque (pensamos que de epilepsia), esteve internado na clinica veterinária até hoje, mas já nada havia a fazer, os danos neurológicos eram irreversíveis, não voltou a acordar  (aguardamos agora pelos resultados da autópsia, porque queremos saber o que se passou ).

Foi um cão feliz , deu-nos os 6 filhotes - os pestinhas - e era o maior amigo da Iris.

Estamos tristes, muito tristes e a quinta ficou mais silenciosa .

Estas foram as últimas fotos dele:

Hugo has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today.

He was rescued from the streets in 2005 and he lived with us for 7 years.

Unfortunately, when he was a puppy he had canine distemper  (before he came to our family) and despite having lived all these years without any symptoms, he had a seizure on Saturday . He was hospitalized in the Vet clinic until today, but now there was nothing more to do, he had irreversible and severe neurological damage   (now, we are  waiting for the results of the autopsy, because we want to know what happened).

It was a happy dog​​ and he was Iris's best friend !

We are sad, so sad  and we will miss him very much. Our farm became quieter.

A Dona está na Minha cama.... agora imaginem o espaço que sobra quando o Dono também lá está .......

Olá amigos ! Para que não haja dúvidas sobre de quem é esta cama, aqui vão algumas fotos esclarecedoras...... quem dorme lá mais tempo sou EU, por isso é MINHA.

Aqui deixei o meu Dono deitar-se comigo... mas isto deixa-me nervosa.... sim porque eu sofro dos nervos !
Here I authorized dad to sleep with me, but I felt very nervous as you can see !

Ora bem, recebi alguns bons conselhos dos meus amigos aqui do blog:

- A minha Dona tem que arranjar uma cama maior  - eu cá concordo !! mas a Dona diz que não cabe no quarto... má vontade dela, é só má vontade ... se ela tirar aqueles moveis horrorosos todos do quarto, cabe lá uma cama King size (prá aí de 2 m de largura, ahhhhhh)

- A minha dona pode dormir na minha cama pequenina - pois.... pois.... eu também acho, mas ela diz que não cabe lá. Ora, com jeitinho conseguia, é só má vontade ....

- O meu Dono podia encolher-se um bocadinho  -  ora, ora...... ele encolher-se ?!? tá bem tá ! passa a vida e empurrar-me !!!! é só má vontade ......

- Uma cama nova para mim  - Nãããooooo !! eu já tenho uma cama ! ELES é que não têm !!!!


E pronto, é este o ponto da situação !



In my previous post I got some good advice from my friends:

 - Mom has to buy a bigger bed - I agree ! But Mom says it does not fit in the bedroom ... bad will ... if she get off some hideous furniture there are space enough in the room for a BIG BED (King size).

 - Mom could sleep in my tiny bed  -  I Agree , but she says she doesn't fit there.... Bad will....

 - Dad could shrink a bit  - Oh yes !!!  He is always pushing me !  Bad will......

 - A new bed for me - Nooooooo! I already have a bed! THEY do not have one.

And voila, this is the situation !

Uma questão de camas II ! About beds ...!

Olá amigos ! Estou muito chateada!  Alguém está querer ocupar o meu lugar na cama. Não, não é nesta:

Ora bem, eu  no Verão só vou para a MINHA cama (esta aqui de cima, sim!) de madrugada - está calor e só a essa hora é que me apetece ir para a caminha fofa. 

Quando lá chego, só encontro 1/4 da cama livre ! só 1/4 ! dá para acreditar ???? parece impossivel !! o meu Dono ocupa metade da cama (o gordo!) e a minha Dona que dorme enroscada, ocupa 1/4 da cama.

 

Então, lá vou eu, salto para a cama e instalo-me no espaço que está vago, sem incomodar ninguém...... Juro, eu não incomodo ninguém..... mas a minha Dona que está a ficar velha e má, passado um pouco começa e empurrar-me !!!! A mim !!! Já não há respeito nenhum ! Eu encolho-me, mas depois volto a esticar-me aaahhhhhhhh, sim que eu gosto de dormir esticada ! 

E sim, porque a cama é MINHA !!

( a minha Dona está a dizer que lhe doem os joelhos de estar encolhida, ora bem, a cama da primeira  fotografia está livre .....)

 

 

Well, in the Summer  I usually go to MY bed (this one above, yes!) at dawn because of the warm nights.

When I get there, I find only 1/4 of the bed vacant! only 1/4! Can you believe it??  It looks impossible! Dad occupies a half of the bed (the fat guy!) and  Mom sleeps curled so she occupies 1/4 of the bed.

So there I go, I jump into the bed and install myself  in the vacant space ,  without bothering anyone ...... I swear, I didn't bother anyone ..... but Mom, who is getting old and  bad, she began to push me !! How could she do that !!  this is an outrage ! Then I  stretch me again, because I like to sleep stretched! And yes, because the bed is MINE!

 

(Mom is saying that her knees are hurting ..., well she can always sleep in the bed of the 1st picture - it's vacant...) .
